Lika Chocolat by Lički Vrt
I was born in southern Belgium, in a family where good food and quality ingredients were considered to be very important.
After working as a freelance journalist, translator and caterer in Belgium, I went back to school and obtained a CAP - a professional diploma - in confectionery and pastry-making at the Institut National de la Boulangerie-Pâtisserie in Rouen, France.
Baking cakes and learning about chocolate have always been my passion, and I am glad I turned it into my daily job.
Today I have the opportunity to share my passion with you. I created some of my pralines and truffles in Belgium, but some were only created here, using local flavours such as šljivovica and lavender from Lika. I settled in the green heart of Croatia to enjoy a simple life and breathe clean, fresh air. So let me share the best of both worlds with you!
